How to Make Iced Coffee with Espresso Machine

We've all been there, in need of a cold beverage on a hot summer's day. While there are several options to choose from one way to refresh those thirst buds is with an iced coffee. Overall, making an iced coffee with espresso machine is as easy as whipping up any other brewed or blended drink. Furthermore, it takes no more time to prepare an iced coffee than it does to prepare any other hot/cold drink.

Ingredients

In order to get one step closer to enjoying an iced coffee with espresso machine ingredients and supplies will need to be collected. Items such as ice, an espresso machine, milk, ground espresso beans, and sugar will be all the used items in addition to a desired sized glass. Substitutes such as using cream instead of milk and syrup instead of sugar can also be used. Either way, the result of an iced coffee with espresso machine will remain the same rather substitute or original ingredient.

Cup of Ice

Next, take the chosen glass and fill it full with ice cubes. Although the initial purpose of the ice will be meant to keep the drink cold it will also aid in melting the hot espresso. Also, it is recommended that the glass is full of ice as less ice could take it longer for the espresso to melt. Nonetheless, while this is the first step taken prior to making the rest of the drink the glass can be placed in the freezer during preparation.

Ground Coffee

After preparing an ice-filled glass and placing it in the freezer the next step is to make an espresso shot. To do this first take ground espresso beans and place them in the espresso head and, at that point, insert the espresso head into the espresso machine. While the espresso flavor can be any flavor one shot will give a regular taste and 2 shots will be the common double shot espresso type of drink. However, this drink will still be considered as an iced coffee with an espresso machine.

Brewed

Once the espresso beans have been grounded it is time to pour the contents of the iced coffee with espresso machine into a small cup then empty the contents of the small cup into the ice-filled glass. An additional option is to replace the small cup with the ice-filled glass so that the espresso empties into the glass for a one-step task. Either way, the same result will be reached. Overall, it only takes a few moments for the espresso beans to completely ground.

Spiced Up

Finally, the iced coffee with espresso machine blend is complete when milk as been added to the rest of the ice-filled glass. After adding the milk, not a whole lot, stir the contents together and the ice coffee will be ready. Of course, the option of adding a little bit of sugar or syrup for additional sweetness is always an added available option. Ultimately, the entire blending and prep time only takes approximately 5-10 minutes before the iced coffee with espresso machine is ready to enjoy.

In conclusion, an iced coffee with an espresso machine blended drink makes for a refreshing drink, at any time (especially during hot weather. Ingredients include an ice-filled glass, grounded espresso beans, milk or cream, and sugar or syrup. While the entire prep time should take no longer than 15 minutes before the drink is ready to enjoy use as much ice as possible so that the espresso can properly melt in as short amount of time as possible. This drink can be regular or double shot.
